How to connect your Instagram
Postato reads the comments and DMs of your Instagram and posts the replies you send. For that, your account needs to be connected to a Postato profile.
Before you start
The account must be a Creator or Business account. Personal accounts cannot be connected: this is an Instagram rule. You can change the account type in the Instagram app itself, in Settings, without losing followers.
Step by step
- Sign in to Postato and, at step 2 of the first setup, tap Continue with Instagram. If you are past that step, go to Settings, Connections.
- Sign in to the Instagram account you want to connect. If the browser is already signed in to another account, switch first.
- Review the permissions and accept. Instagram will show the app name "Postato".
- Done: you are back in Postato, which starts reading your posts from the last 30 days.
What we ask Instagram for
- Comments
- To show them in the Inbox and post the replies you send.
- Messages
- For DM replies and the automations you turn on.
- Insights
- To save your starting point and follow your posts for 30 days.
Nothing is posted until you send it or turn on an automation. You can disconnect at any time in Settings, Connections.
After connecting
Reading your posts and comments becomes your starting point and your first voice guide. You can leave the page meanwhile: we will e-mail you when it is ready.

If an error with a code shows up, try again and, if it keeps happening, send the code to contato@postato.com.br.
