How each one charges.
- Postato: Solo R$ 79, Team R$ 199 and Agency R$ 599 a month. Each plan has a monthly allowance of AI drafts and automated DMs, and it does not charge per contact.
- ManyChat from Brazil: the pricing page in Portuguese shows the Pro plan from R$ 149 a month for up to 500 contacts, going up with the number of contacts, and AI as a R$ 299 a month add-on to Pro.
- ManyChat from the US: the page in English shows other plans, in US dollars, charged by active contacts in the month: Essential at US$ 17 a month (US$ 14 a month billed annually) and Pro at US$ 39 a month (US$ 29 a month billed annually), with AI included from Pro up.
ManyChat says the price depends on the billing country and does not include tax.

- You want to send broadcasts to your list.
- You build funnels with multi-step flows and integrations like Zapier, Make, Stripe or Hotmart.
- You want to start without paying: ManyChat has a free plan.
- You want a large template library and a tool on the market since 2015.
When Postato makes more sense.
- You reply to comments and DMs and want drafts in your voice to choose from, with nothing going out on its own.
- You promise things in your replies, like “out on Friday”, and do not want to forget who was waiting.
- You want to know who is who: relationship strength, super fans and who promotes you.
- Your team replies for you and someone approves before it goes out.
- You prefer to pay for an allowance of drafts and DMs, not per contact.
You can use both.
ManyChat takes care of flows and the other channels, and Postato of the conversation on Instagram and of the TikTok comments: the inbox, the drafts, the promises and the people. If you use ManyChat only for “comment X and I'll DM you the link”, Postato does that too, and you may not need both.
If you use both, keep each keyword in one tool only, so the same person does not get two DMs.
Questions.
I use ManyChat only for “comment X”. Do I need both?
Maybe not. Postato also does “comment the word, get the DM”, with a reply on the post, follow to unlock and asking for an e-mail or phone number. If you use ManyChat on other channels, for broadcasts or for multi-step flows, keeping both makes sense.
Does Postato import my ManyChat automations?
No. You create each automation in Postato, from scratch or from one of the seven ready-made templates.
Does Postato reply on its own, like ManyChat's AI?
Only what you turn on. Drafts wait for you to pick and send them. On Instagram and TikTok, you can turn on automatic replies to praise and emoji-only comments, and on Instagram also to story comments, after 20 of your own replies in the type on each network, and each one waits 5 minutes in the Inbox so you can undo it.
